To meet graduation requirements, students must have 3 credits of Mathematics and a passing score on the Math Proficiency Test or Ohio Graduation Test. To go on to college, it is recommended that students take as much math as possible (including Algebra 1 and Geometry, prefer at least Algebra 2 or Algebra 2A).
Ohio Graduation Test
Students can prepare for the Ohio Graduation Test (OGT) by visiting the Ohio Department of Education website. The site provides OGT General Information, OGT FAQ, Previous Tests, Practice Tests (Practice Test, Answer Document and Administration Manual), Test Materials (Test Samplers), and Academic Content Standards.
