Important Information on Coronavirus

Updated: Monday, March 30th

Good Afternoon Cleveland Central Catholic Families –

Today, Governor DeWine and Dr. Acton announced that Ohio Schools will continue online distance learning through Sunday, May 3, 2020.  Each day we stay home helps to flatten the curve, and take care of our local community and beyond.  Thank you for your commitment to these efforts.

A couple of updates as we look to the future.

Online Learning:
It is imperative that students are logging into Google Classroom each day and staying current with all assignments.  Each faculty member is working diligently to provide dynamic and effective learning in the online classroom.  Grades will be given for all assignments.  Students must earn a passing grade in order to earn credit towards graduation requirements.  3rd Quarter Report Cards will be sent in the mail toward the end of this week.  Any questions about online learning or technology needs should contact Sr. Erin at 216-393-7661.

Transcripts:  Seniors, please contact your Guidance Counselor.

Voucher Completion: Any freshmen, sophomore or junior who has not completed the voucher application, you may drop off applications at school Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday from 9am-11am.  Remember you need the voucher application and a recent utility bill. For questions about vouchers, please contact Sr. Allison Marie at 440-549-0543.

End of year activities: We continue to vision and consider possibilities for end of year activities. Especially, senior year activities. Caps, gowns and diplomas are being finalized and will be ordered soon. We will continue to heed the advice of Governor DeWine and the CDC as we plan for large group gatherings.  Once we know more, we will keep you informed.

Food and other community resources: Any family that is in need of community resources can access our directory above or contact Sr. Erin at 216-393-7661 for further assistance.

Easter Break: There will be no online instruction from Thursday, April 9th through Sunday, April 19th in observance of Easter.  This is a great time to rest and recharge, while at the same time catching up on any work that you still need to complete.

These are uncertain times.  However, as women and men of faith, may we continue to hold each other in prayer as we navigate this journey together.  If you need assistance or have a question, please do not hesitate to reach out to one of us.

Mr. Hyland, Sr. Allison Marie, Mr. Crawford, Mr. Duke, and Sr. Erin
